11-May 15-Drive Naivasha to Masai Mara,afternoon game drive “Day 10 … another long drive from Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Park and a game drive after lunch. Staying in a tent at a wilderness resort high above the Mara Triangle. Have to go up by a special monster jeep. Busy season hasn’t started yet so we got to spend lots of time with the lions. The jeeps are not supposed to give the lions shade but she snuck up on our guide.”
12-May 16-Masai Mara, morning & afternoon game drives “Day 11 … full day of game drives at Masai Mara. Went back to see the pride of lions with a significantly smaller buffalo carcass and saw the male this time. The baby giraffe in the video was newly born. You could still see the umbilical cord. Masai Mara borders on Tanzania and the Serengeti. Hunting is illegal in Kenya. Rangers shoot to kill with poachers. However hunting is legal in Tanzania.”
13-May 17-Masai Mara, morning & afternoon game drives “Day 12 … picked up at 4am for the bumpiest drive yet to the hot air balloon launch site. Breakfast in the park after a smooth landing. I will miss this place”
